Your family photoshoot is simply about you and your family. Don’t worry about being your ‘perfect’ selves on the day because I’m looking for what’s real and honest.

I photograph families in a very natural and relaxed way, which will show in your photos, reflecting your family bond, the fun moments together and your children’s unique personalities.

Having family photographs is a gift to yourself but also to your children who will certainly enjoy looking at their photo album time and time again as they get older. For once, you will be in the photos as well (yay!) so you can feel and see your connection and how precious your relationship is for all of you. I know it’s not about showing off (that’s why you’re here) - your happiness is deep and real and you want to your true, raw love on pictures to admire the little beautiful world you’ve created.

Beautiful, not ‘pretty’, photos

My photos are not ‘pretty’ where everyone is looking straight at the camera but instead they are beautiful because everyone looks like themselves.

These natural images will reflect your children’s personalities and interests in this particular time in your family life, which is priceless.

What to expect for your family photoshoot

Whatever your children’s age, I will adapt your family photoshoot to your family dynamic. We will have the opportunity to chat about it in a call before your session.

As children grow up so quickly, I imagine you want to keep a memory of this particular stage in your family with the games your children like playing, the mesmerised look of your baby looking at bubbles, the giggles of your toddler, the mad energy of your older child or the quiet mood of your teenager.

We will have 1.5-2 hours together, which will give me plenty of time to capture a variety of beautiful moments between you and your children and with the children themselves.

You decide where you want your photo session to take place, in your home or outdoors in one of your favourite family spot in London. These photos will be completely unique to your family and that’s the beauty of it.

Family photography pricing & products

Like all of us, you probably have hundreds of photos of your family on your phone and I’m guessing you don’t have the time or the energy to print and organise.

If you had family albums when you were little you probably remember that feel-good sensation when flicking through your photos.

Some families prefer framing their photos so they can see them every day on their walls.

I totally believe that having your photos printed will make you feel warmer inside each time you will look at them. It is now acknowledged that family photos boost children’s self-esteem and wellbeing because it shows them, as they’re growing up, that they are loved and their family is where they belong.

My family photo session fees are £150 and my clients usually spend between £600 and £1300 in fine-art photo albums, fine-art prints, wall art and digital images.

FAQ

That’s a totally understandable concern but let me reassure you: it doesn’t matter.
The type of family photography I offer focuses on your personalities and it’s not about posing looking straight at the camera but about being yourselves. And don’t forget that I’ve captured photos of moody children (the bad mood usually doesn’t last!) that their parents loved.

As one mum said: “I am amazed you got so many nice ones of my little one, considering he really wasn’t in a good mood”. It’s going to be fine!
First of all, wear clothes you feel comfortable in, that’s probably the most important. If clothes feel tight, you won’t be at ease during the session and you won’t be able to relax and be yourself.

Colourwise, neutrals can be a good base to which you can add a touch of colour. As a general rule, try to avoid black and red (for the tops), logos and strong patterns. Apart from that, feel free to wear what you like!
